Koray Tüzün has been active in the cosmetics industry since 1990 as a manufacturer, brand developer, and innovation leader. Known for his pioneering work in the sector, he developed the world’s first cosmetics containing natural mineral water (Eau Minérale Naturelle) and officially registered this approach; his research has been included in international cosmetic literature.

Throughout his career, he created the brands Performance, Vogue, Cleanex, and Le Brunche, establishing a broad product portfolio in the hair-care category and managing production and brand operations covering more than 210 product barcodes.

He developed innovative technologies that extend the shelf life of cosmetic and food products without the use of paraben-based preservatives; this work was recognized as an invention by the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Türkiye and placed under state protection. Within projects conducted together with academic advisory teams, he implemented production processes compliant with HACCP, KalDer, GMP, and Kosher standards.

Representing Türkiye internationally through his work, he received awards including “Best Cosmetics Company,” “Best Innovation,” and “Best Invention (Ultrasonic)” within the scope of Türkiye–Europe awards.

Today, he carries out private label production for both his own brands and international partners at manufacturing facilities located in Tuzla, Istanbul, and Milan. The Protector brand he founded is positioned as a high-end umbrella brand, while Beyoube represents the premium segment. He also continues managing the Vouqeplex and Performance brands. The protein care product group is the brand’s strongest and most specialized segment.

Brands owned by Koray Tüzün are used by distinguished professional hair-care specialists in many countries, especially in the United States, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Italy, Greece, France, Russia, and the Turkic Republics.

Since 2016, Tüzün has been actively operating in the U.S. cosmetics market and continues his work based in New York. All products under the Protector brand—including the protein care line—have FDA approval.

Koray Tüzün introduced to the industry a Kosher certification that belongs exclusively to the Protector brand worldwide; today, he provides production, sales, and marketing organization services to approximately 8,000 professional women’s hair salons across the United States.
